Remember: Check Things Twice: Mercury Goes Retrograde August 3rd-26th

Hello Everyone!

You might want to be a bit more careful in your agreements, planning, communicating, and traveling now that Mercury will be Retrograde from August 3^rd through August 26^th. *

See below for where you Sun Sign/Rising Sign might experience this Mercury Retro the most.

Mercury Retrograde is famous for snafus, reversals and delays, especially in matters involving decisions, contracts, technology, schedules, and interpersonal understandings. So check your facts, backup your documents and leave the house a bit earlier for appointments.  When Mercury is Retrograde it appears to go backwards in orbit.  It can sometimes seem like our lives are peddling backwards too.  It’s not – we just have 3 weeks to review and confirm what we’re doing.

Some people avoid finalizing important decisions and projects while Mercury is Retrograde, hoping that would save unnecessary hassles.  That can often be a useful strategy. But sometimes Mercury Retrograde prompts decisions that just can’t wait.

So if you do decide, commit to or begin something between now and August 26^th be flexible and alert as it may go a bit differently than planned.  Or you might need to tweak it later. 

Truth is, Mercury Retrograde is really a time to review, deepen and evaluate your recent decisions and commitments. Indeed, Mercury Retrogrades ask, “Is this what you really want/think/love?”  “Is there another way things can work out?”   Use this time to look things over to see if anything needs any finishing steps. 

This Mercury Retrograde will take place in the signs Virgo and Leo. 

Between now and August 7^th, Mercury is retrograde in Virgo.  This can help us (or make us) review very recent decisions and ideas about our work, the routines of our lives and/or our health. 

Then, from August 8^th-26^th Mercury Retrogrades through Leo.  That may encourage us (or make us) review our expression of love, creativity, and honor.  It might be time for even more of your own expression and valor to blossom. 

But do watch issue of pride and control during this Mercury Retrograde period – it’s not a time when you should be demanding others’ applause of your fabulousness as much as concentrating on doing those things that make your own heart sing.
