Mercury Retrograde Through April 23rd: Double check your plans....

You might want to be a bit more careful in your planning, communicating, and traveling now that Mercury is Retrograde through April 23^rd .  Check your facts, backup your documents and leave the house a bit earlier for appointments.  Mercury Retrograde is famous for snafus, reversals and delays, especially in matters involving decisions, technology, schedules, and interpersonal understandings.

Some people avoid finalizing important decisions and projects while Mercury is Retrograde, hoping that would save unnecessary hassles.  Often that can be a useful strategy. But considering how many planets are transiting the impulsive, dynamic, jump-first-think-later sign of Aries, we might not be able to hold life from happening this April.  Nor should we – April’s Aries energy is fantastic for new starts – even if Mercury is Retrograde!

Just consider that if you do decide, commit to or begin something between now and April 23^rd be flexible as it may go a bit differently than planned.  Or you might need to tweak it later. 

Truth is, Mercury Retrograde is really a time to review, deepen and evaluate your recent decisions and commitments. Indeed, Mercury Retrogrades ask, “Is this what you really want/think/love?”  “Is there another way things can work out?”   Use this time to look things over to see if anything needs any finishing steps. 

This Mercury Retrograde in the sign Aries which means we may be reviewing our own leadership, new ideas/directions/impulses and/or how we balance our own needs with those of others.  Avoid acting just because you think you should be doing something.  Wait for an inner guidance that stirs expansion in you.  Even if it takes a little longer than you think it should.

The tension between wanting to jump into something new vs. playing it safe can be intensified now, urging us to evaluate if we are being too impetuous and/or too careful.  Expansive Jupiter is Opposing Structure-Bound Saturn.  Often this ignites competing needs between excitement to grow something new vs. the need to satisfy our responsibilities and maintain what we have.

Over the next few weeks we might establish a new balance in our lives, perhaps between

• ·       Ways we satisfy our own needs while satisfying others’.

• ·       Ways we cultivate new growth while completing what we’ve already started. 

• ·       Possibilities we envision for ourselves  vs. maintaining what’s happening now.

Dig deep as the actions and choices you make now can be quite transformative and long-lasting.  Life-changing decisions and actions can happen over the coming days and weeks – with us individually as well as the world in general.

Some of you may find this constellation brings a fulfillment of something you’ve been working towards for a long time! Others might find this constellation helps you resolve to release one situation, commitment, idea, or goal in order to move on to another. Many might have both experiences wherein something finally does come to fruition…which then prompts you to rebalance your priorities.

 Jupiter in Aries is urging each of us to forge new territory in our lives, perhaps even “go it alone” to grow in some new way. This will get even stronger in April as many other planets join Jupiter in Aries.  Surely, this can stimulate new action/opportunities/attitudes. 

Meanwhile, Saturn, the planet of Discipline and Duty is directly across the sky, challenging us to overcome obstacles and learn something we don’t know. March 11th Shake Up

One of March’s 2011's many “Shake-Life-Up” Astrological Events is happening today, March 11^th.  Electrifying Uranus will enter Trailblazing Aries for the first time in 84 years.  This begins a whole new cycle of Innovation and Leadership – within ourselves as well as in the world. 

Uranus is the planet of Freedom, Revolution and Inventions.  Its Seven-Year transit through Aries will undoubtedly ignite countless new inventions, energy sources, and ideas and alliances that change our lives and our world forever.

March 19th SuperMoon: Healing, Compassion, Fruition, Completion

Yet another wave of “Life Restructuring” energies are beaming through with an Ultra-Strong SuperMoon this Saturday, March 19^th SuperMoons are when the Moon is both at perigee, (closest to the earth), and syzygy,(in line with the Sun and Earth).  Needless to say, this can greatly intensify the gravitational pulls on the earth as well as our moods and our consciousness! Considering this SuperMoon happens a day before the Vernal Equinox also points to something significant is shifting in our lives.

SuperMoons are spectacular for life-changing, “Ah-Ha! Moments, even Spiritual Awakenings.  Are you listening to your Inner Guidance? 

 This is a terrific time for illuminating mediation, reflecting on whether you are getting true value out of the activities that take so much of your time, as well as if you are living in a way that is genuinely healthy and meaningful for you. 

SuperMoons are also known to bring extremes in weather and circumstances.  They can certainly heighten our moodiness and our sensitivity as well. It’s also a good time to stay balanced and attuned so as to avoid over-reactive-ness or making decisions rooted in lack or worry. 

This SuperMoon Full Moon signals something important is coming to head in our lives.  So much so that we may be prompted to strike a new balance of priorities in our lives.

The Sun is at the very end of Pisces, meaning we are wrapping something up.  This can give us a feeling of being done….while yearning for something new to “lose ourselves to.”  Instead of jumping into new pursuits, allow yourself some space to connect with the promptings of your heart, to see what truly lifts you.  Meanwhile stretch yourself by letting go of your “should’s” and listen to your Spirit as best you can. Service is always one way to tap into the joyful, spiritual energies this SuperMoon offers. But not in a dogged, “Things are screwed up and have to be fixed”, exhausting way.  But with a healthy, balanced, “What would Serve the Highest Good Of All Concerned Here?”

Forgiveness is also recommended now. Use the Healing/Compassion energies of this SuperMoon to forgive old hurts and resentments so you are cleared and ready to embrace the very new cycle of life beginning around April. 

In short, this SuperMoon delivers a strong vibration of Loving, Connectedness and Compassion if you care to attune to it.
