You might want to be a bit more careful in your planning, communicating, and traveling now that Mercury is Retrograde through April 23rd . Check your facts, backup your documents and leave the house a bit earlier for appointments. Mercury Retrograde is famous for snafus, reversals and delays, especially in matters involving decisions, technology, schedules, and interpersonal understandings.
Some people avoid finalizing important decisions and projects while Mercury is Retrograde, hoping that would save unnecessary hassles. Often that can be a useful strategy. But considering how many planets are transiting the impulsive, dynamic, jump-first-think-later sign of Aries, we might not be able to hold life from happening this April. Nor should we – April’s Aries energy is fantastic for new starts – even if Mercury is Retrograde!
Just consider that if you do decide, commit to or begin something between now and April 23rd be flexible as it may go a bit differently than planned. Or you might need to tweak it later.
Truth is, Mercury Retrograde is really a time to review, deepen and evaluate your recent decisions and commitments. Indeed, Mercury Retrogrades ask, “Is this what you really want/think/love?” “Is there another way things can work out?” Use this time to look things over to see if anything needs any finishing steps.
This Mercury Retrograde in the sign Aries which means we may be reviewing our own leadership, new ideas/directions/impulses and/or how we balance our own needs with those of others. Avoid acting just because you think you should be doing something. Wait for an inner guidance that stirs expansion in you. Even if it takes a little longer than you think it should.
