SuperMoon Eclipse, Mercury Going Retrograde, all Make this a Powerful, Eventful Thanksgiving Week

What a Thanksgiving! We’re having a SUPERMOON ECLIPSE, along with MERCURY GOING RETROGRADE all on November 24^th.

 This is a big deal.  These astrological aspects signal it’s time for most of us to “See things differently” in an important area of our lives.  Each of us can receive valuable feedback that helps us evaluate if we should continue investing in certain projects and relationships or start over in a direction.  New Moon Eclipses indicate the beginning of a new, long-term cycle is being established.  

Ah-Ha’s are especially likely this week, especially on Thanksgiving at 10:10 pm PST when the Eclipse is actually happening. That’s because Eclipses are when our normal thought processes and emotional patterns can be interrupted, or “short-circuited,” giving us space to re-boot to a new consciousness.  Often situations erupt that seem to “eclipse” our plans or command our attention in a surprising way. 

Pay special attention to what surfaces for you this week…it can be where you would greatly benefit from a higher perspective.  It can also be where seeds for long-term change are planted in your life.

The fact that this eclipse is also a Supermoon, (when the Moon is at closest approach to earth and in line with the Sun and Earth), means our emotions, urges, and instincts can be quite intensified. This could help bring simmering matters to a passionate boil.  Let your wisdom, not your reactions, call the shots.

Thursday’s  SuperMoon Eclipse takes place in the Freedom-and-Inspiration- Seeking sign of Sagittarius.  Sagittarius is about making life meaningful. It could be easier to awaken to more upliftment and adventure now. 

This Eclipse urges us to explore the question: “Am I experiencing meaning in my life?”  And, for those spiritually prone, “Am I allowing myself to attune to God’s will for me?”

One key to receiving maximum benefit from Thursday’s SuperMoon Eclipse is to step away from righteousness or letter-of-the-law approaches.  Instead, attune to the Spirit of your endeavors.

MERCURY GOING RETROGRADE from November 24^th- December 14^th underscores the theme of evaluating how we are conducting our lives. Mercury Retrograde is a period of review and synthesis of our recent decision and actions.  It helps us clarify if we are on track or if a change of plans or intention is necessary for success in our endeavors and relationships.

That said, Mercury Retrograde is famous for snafus, reversals and delays, especially in matters involving communications, decisions, technology, schedules, and interpersonal understandings.  So you might want to be a bit more careful in your planning, communicating, and traveling while Mercury is Retro through Dec 14^th.  Check your facts, backup your documents and leave the house a bit earlier for appointments.
